About Angela
Angela Kwebiiha (they/them) was born and raised in Central Massachusetts.
In 2021, Angela had their first experience on film as the lead in a short, Accretion Desk, which follows Zoe and her friends on a summer day experiencing a traumatic interaction.
Since then, the Massachusetts native has worked across stage, film, and web while creative directing various concepts. Most recently, they earned an IMDb credit for their work in the short film The Missing Piece which premiered at the Pan African Film Festival (PAFF) and screened at Roxbury International Film Festival, Joburg Film Festival, and more. They earned another IMDb credit for their Season 3 background appearance in the notable web series, Love Undone.
They creative directed 3 videos and 3 photoshoots including themes that experiment with fashion, camera angles, self-reflection and growth – all rooted in expanding how Black women show up in art.
Their foundation for performance is constantly growing as they recently completed a 12 week ballet class and 12 week rapier stage combat course. In December 2021, they graduated with a B.A. in Theater from University of Massachusetts – Amherst. They performed in six shows and trained in voice, movement, heightened language, dramaturgy research, and directing.
Angela loves to be in front and behind the camera and plans on doing more collaborative directive work and acting.
